SOURCE MAGAZINE

_MG_6450

BRIEF

Take all the bibliographies from approximately 120 writers’ articles and design two 2-page spreads with this content laid out in a visually interesting but still readable way. Layout must remain within the provided ‘The Source Magazine’ style guide.

Deliverables included an InDesign packaged file including the spreads and all necessary artwork if needed.

OUTCOME

Each writer provided anywhere between five to fifteen references for their articles, each of which fell into one of four topics. References were divided by author, then topic, then alphabetically by author to ease navigation.

The body copy was placed within a circular shape with each topic titled overlayed with it’s assigned colour on their corresponding group of articles. This creates multidimensional pages where the page header and body text are significant parts of each other.
