Raffles College of Design and Commerce gives their fashion students the opportunity to participate in Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week. This fashion week’s theme was ‘Perspective’ and required a poster design to be printed and displayed around campus and in Beijing.

Deliverables included a final InDesign package with all necessary elements.

OUTCOME

Raffles Collage provided several photo sets covering the previous year’s runways; the origin of the chosen image. As the original image displayed whole outfits from a prior year’s runway I cropped into the crunway
walk, an element easily linked back to Fashion Week. Following the misaligned ‘Perspective’ theme already used by the college, the word was broken into 3 part and followed the misaligned structure along the shadows on the runway.
